In Loving Memory ...
Over the past 27 years, I have suffered the loss of many beloved Swissies. I have been fortunate in that most have lived to old age but I have also experienced the heartache of losing a "Dog of a Lifetime" in his prime .
No matter the cause, no matter the age, no matter how many times you have experienced such a loss, it never gets easier.
I learned important lessons from each Swissy with whom I've been so fortunate to share my life.
I cherish the memories of each of these beloved friends.

Theo is beautifully balanced, had a beautiful head, great bone and substances and lovely dark color. Theo had a stellar temperament. He was shown to his Championship by a Junior. 3/15/2008 - 10/03/2020 AND GENEVA (Jotunheim Wilma) (sitting) 3/07/2012 - 4/06/2023 BASEL was the beloved first Swissy of my dear friends Nancy and Steffen and GENEVA was their second. They both lived long and healthy lives near the beach in MA . When they got old and has issues with mobility making it difficult todo long walks, Nancy and Steffens third Swissy, Chiba, would give them taxi rides around the neighborhood in their wagon. They are both dearly missed. |

She was a big, athletic girl who lived a charmed life in the city during the week and at her Patuxent River retreat on weekends. Tessa finished her Championship and Grand Championship with ease and at 18 months old was Best in Puppy Sweeps at the big GSMD Specialty in Millwood. Although she enjoyed her occasional forays in the show ring, she much preferred hiking and swimming with her owners and new pal "Thor" (blue puppy from Luna x Theo litter) and napping on the bed with her owners and their menagerie.
