Frida was the sweet and goofy Swissy Matriarch in my home for over 13 years.
She was such a trooper. She lived longer than most Swissies and did so with grace and humor. She never complained and greeted every day
with her gentle smile. She was such an affectionate and happy girl who in her younger days enjoyed herding sheep and chasing squirrels.
Wallowing in the creek and cuddling on the couch were her favorite pastimes.
Frida was not a tall girl but had great substance and bone, a beautiful front, strong rear and lovely dark color .
Frida was an incredible mother, free whelping five beautiful litters, employing her calm ,assertive nature to raise confident, well mannered puppies.
Frida produced eleven AKC Champions who are all first and foremost beloved family dogs.
She has passed on many of her lovely qualities, as well as her telltale freckles and beautiful fat tail to her progeny and their offspring, as well.
Most importantly, Frida was a wonderful house dog , gentle companion, and friend to anyone she met.
I was so very lucky to have had her in my life for so many years and I miss her so much.
I am so gratefull to Carmelita White who entrusting me with Frida as a pup.. and to all the wonderful friends who gave Frida's puppies such loving homes.
